The Academy's annual report presents an overview on the supported research projects, connected with voices from European descision-makers and actors.

In this report we have focused on three key areas within the frame of Europe's responsibilties in global progress: Carrying responsibility as a European Community, the integration of commonly shared European values, and the consolidation of European institutions. Through these pillars of understanding Europe, various aspects can be identified and further explored. Within the framework of the Charlemagne Prize Academy, we aim to filter out and highlight precisely these aspects, propose possible solutions to current and future challenges, before and while they appear in public discourse, and create an information base for the topics of today and tomorrow.

The activities of the Academy are supported by the Robert Bosch Foundation, the Federal Foreign Office, the King Baudouin Foundation, schwartz GmbH and the State Government of North Rhine-Westphalia.
