Charlemagne Prize Academy Report 2020
Report
The Charlemagne Prize Academy's Annual Report presents an overview on the supported research projects, connected with voices from European descision-makers and political personalities.
In this report, we center our attention on three critical areas concerning Europe's role in global progress: assuming responsibility as a unified European Community, fostering the integration of commonly shared European values, and strengthening European institutions. These foundational pillars provide a framework for identifying and delving into various aspects essential to understanding Europe's role in the world.
Within the scope of the Charlemagne Prize Academy, our objective is to discern and emphasise precisely these aspects, offering potential solutions to both present and future challenges before they become prominent in public discourse. By doing so, we aim to establish an informational foundation for addressing the pressing issues of today and preparing for those of tomorrow.
The activities of the Academy are supported by the Robert Bosch Foundation, the Federal Foreign Office, the King Baudouin Foundation, schwartz GmbH and the State Government of North Rhine-Westphalia.
